This pair of wallets demonstrate Olivier’s practice of borrowing symbols and phrases and using them in a new, unfamiliar context. They are made from decommissioned yellow and red fire-hose and reclaimed green and orange parachute silk.

Why ‘Lee’ & ‘Nancy’?
Lee Hazlewood and Nancy Sinatra’s are one of Olivier Millagou’s favourite couples. They produced a string of hits in the 1960’s including “These boots are made for walkin’”, “Some Velvet Morning” and “Somethin’ Stupid” which Nancy performed with her father Frank Sinatra.

Olivier studied at the Ecole Superieur des Beaux-Arts in Marseille and spent a year at the Acadamia of Rotterdam. He has exhibited internationally including Palais de Tokyo – Paris, Musée de Moderne Art – St Etienne, and the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography. In 2009 he has projects at The Irish Museum of Contemporary Art - Dublin, Le Parvis Centre d’Art Contemporain – Ibos, Santa Monica, Nice, Ottowa and Luxembourg. Olivier Lives and works in Marseilles, France.
