After our longest ever winter at Tonge Mill everything is finally in bloom.
It is much easier, from the perspective of this sunny Friday, to look back fondly on our temporary loss of heat and power during the height of the snow. We were lucky to have a wood-burning stove, and instead of trudging home the whole team stayed warm by the fire with mugs of tea and hot chocolate. We did sneak outside for a bit to take this picture - we had to ensure we had some proof of all that snow!
These daffodils are starting to fade now, but the cherry blossoms are just starting to come through so we won't miss them too much.
Next stop summer!
