Happy Valentines Day

"Make Love, Not Waste". We didn't come up with this phrase, but it sums us up. Why? We start with materials that are unloved, that would otherwise go to landfill. We rescue and resuscitate them, handcrafting entirely new goods. But what else does this mean?

It means a focus on utilitarian, classic design. We don't do seasons. We want you to enjoy and use our pieces for a really long time, year after year.
It means we repair for life. We are always on hand to help with repairs. Back in 2008 one of our very first belt owners got in touch, he had outgrown his belt. What did we do? We extended it.
It means that we share, 50% of our profits are donated to charities. Sharing is an act of kindness, generosity and love.
It means we have a long term view about the environment. The planet is not ours to exploit and destroy, it is ours to cherish and ensure for future generations.
It means we run our business differently. We are a Social Enterprise and a founding UK B Corp, we are measured and certified across a range of criteria so that you don't have to take our word for it. This isn't talk, this is the truth.
It means continuing to improve. Love isn't static, it doesn't rest on its laurels, and neither do we.

It means so much more than this too, so keep coming back to see us. Go out and give your loved ones a squeeze too, and enjoy the celebration of love that Valentines Day can be.
