Whizz around town

This is Elvis & Kresse's Laptop Bag: a combination of hard-wearing vintage fire-hose and hand-woven rescued Burberry leather. The sleek design is perfect for when you want to travel light around the city. You can comfortably carry a 14" laptop and the bag has a large internal zip pocket.

The Laptop Bag, part of our Fire & Hide Collection, is crafted through a transformation of leather fragments from the production of Burberry leather goods. Our craftsmen individually cut and hand weave, piece by piece, these otherwise lost scraps of leather into whole new hides. The Fire & Hide Collection is the sumptuous blend of our signature decommissioned fire-hose and rescued leather. The limited nature of our rescued materials means we can only ever create a few pieces in each variation. You can learn more about our leather partnership here.

Every option includes handles and trim in Elvis & Kresse's signature decommissioned fire-hose, which was previously deployed in active duty for up to 25 years, fighting fires and saving lives around the UK.

In 2005 we fell in love with London's decommissioned fire-hose. Determined to save it from landfill we took this lifesaving material home, gave it a second chance, and vowed to donate 50% of the profits to the Fire Fighters Charity. But fire-hose was just the beginning.

Every year, 800,000 tonnes of leather ends up on the cutting room floor. Our leather partners cherish their hides, but no matter how carefully they cut their patterns, there will always be small seemingly unusable offcuts. To rescue this leather we developed a unique modular approach. We hand weave these fragments into whole new hides then lovingly recraft them into sustainable luxury bags and accessories. Our commitment to rescuing British fire-hoses remains the same, the trim, handles and internal detailing of the Fire & Hide range are all made from genuine decommissioned fire-hose. And we continue to donate 50% of profits to charity.

Our Fire & Hide Collection represents a whole new kind of luxury. One that is sustainable, ethical, transparent, generous and kind.

50% of profits donated

Since 2005 we have been rescuing seemingly useless materials and lovingly handcrafting them into sustainable luxury bags and accessories. Every year since, Elvis & Kresse have donated 50% of the profits to charities related to those raw materials. 50% of the profits from the Fire & Hide Collection are donated to Barefoot College International and The Fire Fighters Charity.

Oh my goodness - you are all so nice! You have just made my day, and made me a customer for life. THANK YOU! What a wonderful way to do business. I am so impressed.

I bought him the Wash Bag last year for Christmas, and then the laptop bag for myself + now the belt for him. We love your products. Super unique and stylish.

I thought you would like to know what one of your bags is doing at the moment! A couple of years ago I bought a beautiful Elvis and Kresse creation for my son. At the moment he is working in Children's Intensive Care and your bag is safely and securely carrying his required items to and from work each day. Well done, Elvis, Kresse and the team.
