As you know, Elvis & Kresse exists to solve waste problems... which is why we love this time of year!
Join us and get involved in @KeepBritainTidy’s Great British Spring Clean which is taking place from the 22 March-23 April 2019. Elvis & I did our first litter pick on Saturday, along our local lanes and in the Tonge Mill Country Park that we are lucky enough to gaze at every day from the windows of our workshop.
We found a lot of single use packaging, ranging from drinks bottles and cans to crisp packets. We also found a lot of wet-wipes which DO NOT biodegrade... Litter is indeed insane and the process can be depressing (particularly when you imagine how waste escapes into the natural world) but the end result is incredibly satisfying. We met a few neighbours who all chipped in and can't wait to take part in more events over the next month!
