The Elvis & Kresse Cast Aluminium Candlestick Holders are made from genuine decommissioned fire-hose couplings. These extremely rare pieces are exclusively available from Elvis & Kresse. The couplings from the fire-hoses are robust, they are made to last through hose after hose after hose... but every now and then, when they are too damaged for reuse, they come to us.

The 35mm and 50mm diameter candlestick sets comprise of 2 candlestick holders and the single 75mm holder comprises a single female coupling. The set is completed with fire-hose Coasters to rest the holders on and a set of candles.

Previously used to fight fires in the UK these unique couplings are lovingly hand restored by our team in our workshop in Kent. There really aren't many of these around, which makes them a wonderful statement piece for your home or as memorable gifts.

THE FIRE-HOSE COLLECTION

We fell in love with London's decommissioned fire-hose back in 2005 through a chance encounter with the London Fire Brigade. We took this lifesaving material home determined to breathe new life into it and save it from its otherwise inevitable end in landfill.

Our Fire-hose pieces are more than just a collection, they represent a whole new kind of luxury. One that is sustainable, ethical, transparent, generous and kind.

Each of our pieces are unique. There are slight variations in colour and detailing - some items may have the Angus Duraline details printed onto the hose when it is first extruded and some may not, but they all look fabulous!
