Leather Bags
Every bag in this collection uses leather that would otherwise have been destroyed. It comes from either Burberry or Rolls Royce - specifically from the offcuts produced during the manufacture of their leather goods or car interiors. We collect those offcuts and combine them with decommissioned British fire-hose to make bags that carry a different kind of luxury story.
Handmade between our very own two workshops, in Kent and Istanbul, the bags in this range are more varied in colour than our fire-hose collection. The leather and fire-hose complement each other structurally: the leather brings softness and surface beauty, the fire-hose brings weight, structure and weather resistance to key areas where that could be important.
Rescued materials. Handmade to last.
- Rescued Leather: We use luxury leather from the world of fashion and automobile manufacture, collected directly from Burberry and Rolls Royce. We do not treat or dye the leather before use. It ages with a natural patina. If you would like to add weather protection to the leather elements of your piece please do so, that is positively encouraged to increase longevity.
- Decommissioned fire-hose: British fire-hose retired from service, used as structural panels and base layers. Water-resistant and durable.
- Solid Metal Hardware: We choose this for its weight and longevity.

Frequently Asked Questions
What leather is used?
We use Burberry and Rolls Royce leather - specifically, the offcuts from their leather goods and automotive manufacturing process. These are premium hides that would otherwise be destroyed. We collect them directly from the factory and use them exactly as they come, without treatment or dyes.
How do leather bags age?
The leather develops a patina over time and becomes more characterful with use. The fire-hose used in the bag structure does not change significantly - it stays durable and resilient. Together they produce a bag that genuinely improves with age.
Are these bags waterproof?
The fire-hose panels are water-resistant. The leather itself handles light rain well but is not waterproof. We recommend treating the leather with a conditioning product if you use the bag in consistently wet conditions.
How do leather bags differ from fire-hose bags?
The leather bags are slightly less bold in colouring - the rescued leather comes in natural hide tones rather than the distinctive red and yellow of the fire-hose. Structurally, both ranges are equally durable. The leather range has a more formal look; the fire-hose range is more immediately distinctive.
