Friends of the Farm
One founding vintage. A unique opportunity. Only 200 Bottles
"I tasted a Souvignier Gris from a tiny vineyard near where I live in Kent... I had a tank sample and it was excellent, a bit like a Muscadet. They are going to be bottling soon and I will write more on this interesting little producer."
— Henry Jeffreys: Wine Writer, Critic and Podcaster —
The Opportunity
Almost everyone we've met has, at some point, dreamed of picking and stomping grapes and making their own wine: snipping juicy bunches from the vine, carrying baskets of grapes back to the winery, bare feet, purple ankles, the whole thing. Running a vineyard just doesn’t fit into most schedules - but growing grapes and making wine is so much more fun when it’s shared with people who love nature and wine too.
In October 2025, we picked our first small harvest and just finished bottling. The excitement here is palpable. We have decided to release just 200 bottles, 100 bottles of white and 100 bottles of red. Each individually numbered bottle will go to the first 200 individuals, families, or organisations that would like to become Friends of the Farm.
Becoming a Friend of the Farm
You are not just buying a bottle, you are putting down roots with our 11,867 vines, joining a community, and become part of this farm as long as we're its custodians.
£500.00 is a lot for a bottle of wine, but that is not what this is. It is not about the bottle at all. Wine is the proof, but not the point. If a vineyard farmed with zero chemicals and total transparency can produce something genuinely great, it changes what we can claim about this way of farming, and about everything else we make. Being a Friend of the Farm means you are choosing to be part of a mission that is still developing, not one that is complete. It means a standing invitation to the farm: to prune with us, to pick with us, to both celebrate and commiserate. It means learning how this way of farming actually works, as much or as little as you want, with the team who live and work here and have seen this site transformed over the last five years. And it means that for as long as you're a Friend, you'll come to know and love this place the way we do.
Are you in?
Friends Benefits
- Your Bottle. One of only 200 from our first harvest, individually numbered and sent with a small gift from us, a personalised luggage tag.
- 20% less, forever: Wine, all of our fire-hose and rescued leather goods, workshops, Field House stays. Everything. No renewing, no remembering, just 20% off, always.
- First access: Every future vintage, new release and limited edition will land with you before anyone else hears about it.
- A seat at the table: Truly, we want to meet you. Harvest parties, farm days, film screenings, dinners... Come for the composting or the bottling, or to press with your feet (yes, really), and toast the results.
- Every high, and every low, as it happens: Tadpoles in the wetland, the butterfly count, when the vines wake up after their winter sleep or the frost gives us a scare. We will share everything about how we are farming and making wine.
How do you become a Friend of the Farm?
- Reserve one of 200 bottles, white or red, for £500.00
- That's it, you are a Friend of the Farm for life.
- Buying for someone else? Friends of the Farm makes an incredibly thoughtful and unique gift. Reserve a bottle in someone else’s name and they receive their own Friend of the Farm Number and every ongoing benefit, not just the bottle of wine.
The Honest Part
A vine produces, on average, about 1.5 bottles of wine each year. Ours are young and unproven, and it could take a few years to get there, or longer. That is one of the risks, and we won't pretend otherwise. Last year, our first harvest amounted to just over 300 bottles. This year, three spring frosts and a drought mean we genuinely don't know yet. That's farming. And we aren't just farming, we are farming in the face of climate change, which seems outright defiant. We would love you to be here with us in the years it works brilliantly, and also in the years where it doesn't. This is the whole point of being a Friend.
