Our leather belts feature the same rescued materials that you will find across our Fire & Hide collection, but the construction of our belts is different. Rescued leather from Burberry and Rolls Royce leather is woven directly onto a decommissioned fire-hose base, creating a belt that combines the refined look of leather with the structural strength of fire-hose underneath.
The result is a belt that works with formal clothes in a way that our fire-hose belts might not. The colouring is more varied, depending on what you choose it can be either neutral or bold. The profile is smarter. And unlike leather belts made from a single hide, the fire-hose core means it will retain its shape over years of use.

Rescued leather: Small pieces of individually cut leather are hand woven and then bound to the fire-hose belt surface. We use premium offcuts from the luxury and automotive sector, and we collect directly from our partners' factories. We do not dye or treat the leather that we rescue.

How do leather belts differ from fire-hose belts?
The leather belts have a more formal look - the woven leather surface gives a smart appearance which is suitable for business or dress wear. The fire-hose belts are more casual and bold in colour. Both use fire-hose in the construction; the leather belts have a rescued leather weave on the surface.
Do these belts crack or deteriorate?
No, not with love and care. The fire-hose base prevents the belt from losing its shape or cracking, which is the most common way that conventional leather belts can fail. The leather surface ages naturally and develops a patina. If you are out in all weather we do recommend a leather protector spray for the leather portions.
How do I size a leather belt?
Our leather belts are sold in several sizes, on each belt page there is a Description Tab, open that up and you will see a tool to help you measure an existing belt for your perfect size. If you don't see your size here, don't worry. All of our belts are made to order and we are happy to make a size just for you.
