Interiors
About us
Elvis & Kresse have been creating interior pieces, for themselves and for clients, since 2010. Their story begins with a dilapidated flat in Bournemouth: a shell of a space brought back to life exclusively through salvaged materials. The transformation caught the attention of House & Garden, which dedicated a six-page feature to it in November 2011, and made national news. That first project set the tone for everything that followed.
Next came the restoration of a Grade II listed mill, reimagined as both home and workshop. Tonge Mill was celebrated across Reclaim Magazine, The Metro, Country Homes and Interiors, and The Telegraph. Every piece is bespoke, shaped by the materials available and the vision of the client. Their work is particularly well suited to boutique hotels and eco-conscious clients who understand that the most extraordinary interiors are not bought off a shelf; they are rescued, reimagined, and made to last.
Rug
Made with rescued leather. Each piece is individually cut and hand-woven. These can be made to suit any size (with a tolerance of approximately 7cm). We can also use different colours to create patterns and borders.
Chair
This chair is made entirely from waste. The wood is failed scaffolding, treated with a hard wax oil, the upholstery is rescued leather and the cushions were from a former office chair.
It was made for a circular economy project sponsored by London Design week in 2016.
