A Sustainable Tipple

The Elvis & Kresse Luxury Coasters are made from genuine decommissioned fire-hose and backed with black reclaimed printing blanket. The hand-stitched hose is vintage, some of it is already 25 years old, and bears the scars of a hard life fighting fires. The re-engineered black printing blanket creates a visually stunning textile that is strong and beautiful to the touch, and that's just on the back side!

Available in red and the more rare yellow fire-hose.

The fire-hose Coasters pair perfectly with the Elvis & Kresse Luxury Placemats.

If you choose the personalisation option, this is achieved by laser etching directly into the material. We recommend not more than 40 characters. The font used is Times New Roman.

THE FIRE-HOSE COLLECTION

We fell in love with London's decommissioned fire-hose back in 2005 through a chance encounter with the London Fire Brigade. We took this lifesaving material home determined to breathe new life into it and save it from its otherwise inevitable end in landfill.

Our Fire-hose pieces are more than just a collection, they represent a whole new kind of luxury. One that is sustainable, ethical, transparent, generous and kind.

Each of our pieces are unique. There are slight variations in colour and detailing - some items may have the Angus Duraline details printed onto the hose when it is first extruded and some may not, but they all look fabulous! If you require a particular style i.e. writing or no writing, please email our team at support@elvisandkresse.com when you place the order stating your name, the product ordered and the style you require and we will do our utmost to accommodate you.
