The Elvis & Kresse double card holder is made from genuine decommissioned fire-hose. Previously deployed in active duty for up to 25 years, fighting fires around the UK, the hose softens with use but never loses its strength. If you want to protect your business cards, the hose will come to the rescue… And if, like Elvis, you don’t like to carry a bulky wallet in your trouser pocket, you can carry all your credit cards and enough cash for a night out in vintage sleek. Fear not – your Contactless card (if you have one) works right through the hose.

If you choose the personalisation option, this is achieved by laser etching directly into the fire-hose on the inside flap of the Card Holder. We recommend not more than 20 characters. The font used is Times New Roman.

THE FIRE-HOSE COLLECTION

We fell in love with London's decommissioned fire-hose back in 2005 through a chance encounter with the London Fire Brigade. We took this lifesaving material home determined to breathe new life into it and save it from its otherwise inevitable end in landfill.

Our Fire-hose pieces are more than just a collection, they represent a whole new kind of luxury. One that is sustainable, ethical, transparent, generous and kind.

Each of our pieces are unique. There are slight variations in colour and detailing - some items may have the Angus Duraline details printed onto the hose when it is first extruded and some may not, but they all look fabulous!
