The outer skin of the Elvis & Kresse Laptop Case or Folio is ethically handmade from genuine decommissioned fire-hose and is extremely hard wearing. Previously deployed in active duty for up to 25 years, fighting fires and saving lives around the UK, fire-hose makes a perfect case to protect your valuable laptop. The hose itself is obviously water-resistant, protecting what’s inside from those unexpected spills. There is also an additional layer of closed cell foam, and the lining is reclaimed parachute silk, offering excellent protection for your documents or laptop. There is one internal pocket.

Available in red or yellow fire-hose. Please note, all hoses are unique, which means your piece is too! If you would like more or less markings, or writing, just drop us an email or include a note in your order.

If you choose the personalisation option, this is achieved by laser etching directly into the fire-hose. We recommend not more than 30 characters. The font used is Times New roman.

THE FIRE-HOSE COLLECTION

We fell in love with London's decommissioned fire-hose back in 2005 through a chance encounter with the London Fire Brigade. We took this lifesaving material home determined to breathe new life into it and save it from its otherwise inevitable end in landfill.

Our Fire-hose pieces are more than just a collection, they represent a whole new kind of luxury. One that is sustainable, ethical, transparent, generous and kind.

Each of our pieces are unique. There are slight variations in colour and detailing - some items may have the Angus Duraline details printed onto the hose when it is first extruded and some may not, but they all look fabulous! If you require a particular style i.e. writing or no writing, please email our team at support@elvisandkresse.com when you place the order stating your name, the product ordered and the style you require and we will do our utmost to accommodate you.
