This Elvis & Kresse Medium Wash Bag, just like its bigger brother, is made from reclaimed printing blanket and genuine decommissioned fire-hose and is lined with waste parachute. Previously deployed in active duty for up to 25 years, fighting fires around the UK, fire-hose makes a perfect sustainable washbag. Strong enough to tackle the toughest conditions the first time around, the hose has been re-engineered to protect your essential toiletries – the hose is obviously water-resistant, protecting what’s inside, but perhaps more importantly protecting what’s outside from leaky shampoo bottles and exploding toothpaste tubes.
If you choose the personalisation option, this is achieved by laser etching directly into the fire-hose. We recommend not more than 20 characters. The font used is Times New Roman.

This ethically made washbag is still roomy, allowing you to fit all the essentials for a weekend away or an overnight stop: deodorant, toothpaste and toothbrush, hairbrush, face cream and a few other small things…

Our Printing Blanket & Fire-hose collection is made from reclaimed printing blankets, rescued from the printing industry, and combined with our signature decommissioned fire-hose. The rescued blankets are re-engineered to create a visually stunning, black textile that is strong and beautiful to the touch. This range maintains all the design features of the full fire-hose versions.
FIRE-HOSE IN ALL THE RIGHT PLACES
We fell in love with London's decommissioned fire-hose back in 2005 through a chance encounter with the London Fire Brigade. We took this lifesaving material home determined to breathe new life into it and save it from its otherwise inevitable end in landfill.
Our Printing Blanket & Fire-hose collection combines the rescued printing blankets with our signature fire-hose, using the strong and heroic fire-hose in high stress areas and for trim, straps and handles.
Each of our pieces are unique. There are slight variations in colour and detailing - some items may have the Angus Duraline details printed onto the hose when it is first extruded and some may not, but they all look fabulous!
