These beautiful one-of-a-kind occasional bowls are made from heritage oak rescued from the most stunning benches.
We are working with oak that has been gracing some of Britain's most beautiful gardens, in bench form, for the last 25 years. Why? Fellow B Corp, Gaze Burvill designs and manufactures the most incredible outdoor furniture at their Hampshire workshop and their commitment to repair old benches is why we have this wonderful wood to work with. We collect the seat slats that need to be replaced, they bear all the hallmarks of decades spent in the outdoors, providing places to sit and enjoy nature at its best. Employing many highly-skilled processes, we have hand-crafted these slats of rescued oak into occasional bowls.
Use them as a centre piece for your table, a fruit bowl or as a way to keep your clutter looking fabulous - the options abound!
These products are made-to-order and are usually dispatched within 5 working days of purchase. However, we do sometimes have some limited stock so if you need it sooner, get in touch!

Since 2005 we have been rescuing seemingly useless materials and lovingly handcrafting them into sustainable luxury bags and accessories. Every year since, Elvis & Kresse have donated 50% of the profits to charities related to those raw materials. 50% of the profits from the Fire & Hide Collection are donated to Barefoot College International and The Fire Fighters Charity.
