The Fire-hose Gladstone Bag is made from heroic decommissioned fire-hose, previously used to fight fires and save lives for up to 25 years, and reclaimed lining material from Burberry Mills. The Elvis & Kresse signature fire-hose is the perfect material to provide extra durability and protection to your belongings, even in a spot of rain!
Our Gladstone Bag is a great size for a trip away and has plenty of pockets to keep your essentials organised. Comfortable, practical and full of heroic history even before you add your own experiences.
The beauty of vintage fire-hose is that it is already naturally water resistant, wipe-clean, extremely durable, and entirely vegan. Each piece will be entirely unique as no two hoses will ever be the same.

THE FIRE-HOSE COLLECTION
We fell in love with London's decommissioned fire-hose back in 2005 through a chance encounter with the London Fire Brigade. We took this lifesaving material home determined to breathe new life into it and save it from its otherwise inevitable end in landfill.
Our Fire-hose pieces are more than just a collection, they represent a whole new kind of luxury. One that is sustainable, ethical, transparent, generous and kind.
Each of our pieces are unique. There are slight variations in colour and detailing - some items may have the Angus Duraline details printed onto the hose when it is first extruded and some may not, but they all look fabulous! If you require a particular style i.e. writing or no writing, please email our team at support@elvisandkresse.com when you place the order stating your name, the product ordered and the style you require and we will do our utmost to accommodate you.

Since 2005 we have been rescuing all of London's retired fire-hose by lovingly handcrafting them into sustainable luxury bags and accessories. Every year since, Elvis & Kresse have donated 50% of the profits from the Fire-hose Collection to The Fire Fighters Charity. This heroic material, once used to save lives, gets a second chance to keep giving back.
